But you can control your home base.

Think of it this way — social media sites are tools to be used whereas blogs, websites, and podcasts are assets to be owned and grown.

So if you’re serious about building your online brand, you need to consistently focus on building your home base.

Because the more likes you obtain, the more people you expose to your brand, message, and home base.

Since Facebook is visited more than any other site in the world outside of Google, you can leverage their power by driving traffic back to your home base from your Facebook Page.

Because new likes open new doors to new connections.

When someone ‘likes’ your Facebook Page, your content will show up in their newsfeed and extend its reach to other people that aren’t currently fans.
